RAW 25 Review : A Tale Of Two Shows !!!

Monday Night Raw’s twenty fifth anniversary show was a show that wanted to be old school and also the new generation, but ended up a hodgepodge of both.

The show aired from The Manhattan Center which featured the old school wrestlers , and The Barclays Center which featured the new generation of wrestlers.

The show started out with the promising return of Vince Mcmahon and Stone Cold Steve Austin at The Barclays Center. The beginning of the show should have started at The Manhattan Center, as that was the venue where it all began twenty five years ago.

After the opening viewers were treated to action mostly from The Barclays Center and not too much from the much heralded Manhattan Center. There was really no reason but greed, for the WWE to have the show from two venues, if they were just going to use The Manhattan Center for a Undertaker and DX promo and a few throw away matches.

The WWE should have just used The Manhattan Center for the whole Raw, with JR and The King on the announce team and Howard Finkel as the ring announcer, then it would be a truly memorable event with a old school feel.

The problem  I had with the show, was the lack of interaction between the new and the old school wrestlers. The WWE should have had Steve Austin as the special Raw GM for the night, with a DX takeover during the night. The WWE had so many missed opportunities that could have been unfortunately.   They could have had a the new age outlaws vs The Bar or something that would have had the old school vs the new generation of RAW. Just a lot of missed opportunities with the show.  Hopefully WWE steps it up with the upcoming Royal Rumble on Sunday night. !!!!!

Flashback Friday : The Best Of Monday Night Raw (Videos)

Monday night WE celebrate the 25th anniversary of Monday Night Raw on the USA Network. I have been a big fan of Raw , since the very first show at The Manhattan Center in NYC. Here are some of  THE BEST clips from Raw’s 25 years!!! I’ve been to many Raw’s the first one’s at MSG and the first one’s at The Barclay Center. I have been to the Raw after Mania and Raw after Summerslam. It’s always been a great time!!!

Goldberg Vs. Lesnar Happening At Survivor Series?????

They say that when there’s smoke, there’s fire. Over the summer, Goldbergwas revealed as the pre-order exclusive for WWE 2K17, which was followed by a nonstop media blitz from the former WCW Champion that continues to this day. Heck, even we interviewed the guy. Goldberg was adamant that he has plenty of matches left in him. Earlier in the summer he also called Brock Lesnar a genius and said he’d love to face him again.

Now we know there’s a pretty good chance there will be at least one more match for Goldberg. It looks like WWE has inked a rematch to one of the most infamous matches in WrestleMania history: Goldberg may be facing Brock Lesnar at Survivor Series.

Jim Ross has multiple sources telling him the same thing, and I’d say Jim Ross is among the more connected among us, when it comes to people in the know. The two men have only met once before: at WrestleMania XX, where it was well-known to the fans in attendance that it was both men’s final night in the company. What followed was one of the strangest matches in front of one of the most hostile crowds in recent memory. Goldberg won that match, but now there will be a second installment … 12 years later.

Survivor Series takes place on November 20 in Toronto. Here is the full match of their first match at Wrestlemania……..

Remembering Chyna !!!

There comes a time when somebody debuts in WWE or any entertainment outlet, and YOU know they are destined for legendary status, and Chyna was one of them. Chyna AKA known as Joannie Laurer the WWF 9th wonder of the world passed away on April 20th 2016. Chyna made woman’s wrestling cool and this was a time before we even knew what a WWE Diva was. Personal demons caused Chyna’s WWF and WWE career to be shortlived, but she made her mark and will always be remembered. I think Chyna in her heyday would have been a perfect Terminator or any DC or Marvel character. R.I.P Chyna and thank you for the memories, hopefully WWE gives Chyna her dues and puts her in the HOF

…..Here are some of the best of Chyna…..

Wrestlemania 32 Recap !!!!!!

WE are back with our Wrestlemania 32 recap…….Wrestlemania was over 5 hours last night, and it was a good show despite many negative posts on social media. The show was entertaining and if I had one word to describe the show it would be surprising.

The IC ladder match was done well and I think could have gone longer with bigger and better spots. I really liked the tribute to Dusty Rhoades during the match by his son Cody, who dressed like The American Dream via poka dots and also had a poka dot ladder which was a great touch.  Sami Zayn did well in the match and got to beat up his former friend and unfortunately now former IC champion Kevin Owens. But the surprise of the night had to be Zack Ryder winning the match and the IC title. Zack pretty much came out of nowhere to win. But I do think he might lose it tonight on Raw. Good going Zack the first time in your ten years in WWE with your Wrestlemania moment .

Jericho Vs. AJ Styles : Another match that ended with a surprise with Jericho getting the win on the up and coming AJ Styles. The match was good with some great spots from both WWE Stars .

The New Day Vs. League Of Nations : Not the best match of the night, but it was GREAT to see The New Day come out of the biggest cereal box EVER.  The WWE pushed The New Day to the next level with this match, even though they lost to the League Of Nations. I hope the WWE puts out Booty O’s cereal .

Dean Ambrose Vs. Brock Lesnar : This was a street fight match, and it didn’t go far enough or get violent enough for Wrestlemania. They should have at least battled on the big Mania ramp or maybe backstage as we have seen many times with WWE street fight matches. This was just ok….but could have been something awesome.

Stone cold, Mick Foley and HBK Mania appearance : What makes Mania the awesome show it is, is that they always bring back the legends in some way and this was fun to see them all back in the WWE ring and causing havoc as always. Just sad to see that the legends could get such a great pop from the audience and be more electrifying than anybody now on the WWE roster.

Becky Lynch Vs. Sasha Banks Vs Charlotte : This match was on the best of the night with a lot of great action and also that the WWE brought back the Woman’s title to the winner of this match. This match set the standard in Woman’s wrestling now they are not just seen as divas but as wrestlers they are. The future of the woman’s division in WWE looks bright

The Andre The Giant Battle Royal :  Eh it was a good bathroom break match between Taker and the championship match. Shaq was a surprise entrant into the battle royal. And I think WE are going to get Shaq vs. Big show next year at Mania in Orlando. Good match and surprising that NXT star Baron Corbin won it. Let’s see what they do with Baron , now that he won this match.

Taker vs. Shane Mcmahon : Good typical Taker mania match but Shane O’Mac is a cyborg to jump off the cell like he did in this match. The action was good for guys in their mid 40’s I wish Vince would have come out and laughed at his fallen son or something, maybe we will get that tonight on Raw.

HHH Vs. Roman Reigns : Eh it was exciting, but we all knew that Roman and the Roman Empire were going to win the match. Stephanie took a big bump which was good, but its just with the WWE cramming Roman down our throats whether we like it or not, its very annoying. Hopefully Roman keeps it till Rollins is 100% better and loses to Rollins, maybe at Summerslam.

Well that is my Mania recap. A good card and the WWE surprised the WWE Universe with more than a few matches. Now the WWE got to keep it up with Monday Night Raw tonight.  Mania returns to Orlando next year and hopefully Superfanworld will be there LIVE. That is all for now, see you all tomorrow for our RAW recap.

WWE NEWS 3/16/16

Heyyy Nowwwww WWE fans .. Welcome to another editon of WWE news right here on Superfanworld.com … WE have some news regarding Stone Cold Steve Austin , WWE Injuries and more…So lets get to it…

Happy 3:16 day……..This should be a national holiday for any WWE superfan !!!! I miss Stone Cold in the ring , and at least we have him doing his podcast….Hopefully we can have a few Stone Cold stunners at Wrestlemania……

WWE Superstar Neville suffered a broken ankle in his match on Raw this past Monday night. Neville was super upset about the injury in the back at Raw. Good thing about his break, is he won’t need surgery and will be back in the ring in two to three months…And they say its fake……

Regarding last Monday’s Monday Night Raw….I thought it was just a average show, and with the lead up to Wrestlemania only a few weeks away the WWE needs to step it up and step it up fast. Roman Reigns came back this week and fought with Triple H. But it wasn’t anything we haven’t seen before…..What I am looking forward too is the Sami Zayn / Kevin Owens match at Mania….This might just steal the whole show……Well that is all we have this time on WWE news….If we hear anything else WE will bring it to you the superfan……Thanks for joining and see you next time!!
