I think this match has to happen….maybe WWE can bring back War Games as a PPV in 2017 and make this happen so WE can see who the most dominant Tag Team is :
We are back with our WWE RAW review for August 15th 2016. This show was the go home show for Summerslam, and as the other RAW shows these past weeks it was just EH. I am thinking if WWE are not confident in the Summerslam card, as they had some matches last night. Not sure who thought Rusev vs. Reigns on RAW would be good, as they are wrestling again on Sunday….Keep it for the big show and have them do a stare down or fight….but not a wrestling match..WTF….Another problem was the debut of the demon king , the WWE should have kept it under wraps for the big show on Sunday. I’m excited for Summerslam as WWE always pulls out a good show. We will have our Summerslam Preview and Predictions on Saturday…..Here are the best of RAW :
Another Monday and another Monday Night Raw…and recently its been more like Monday Night Eh….I think the WWE and RAW are still trying to find their way around with the new era and also the brand split. Some of Raw was very good especially the Rusev Vs. Cesaro match, cause Cesaro is so damn good he could make anybody look like a superstar.
Despite the lackluster RAW i’m looking forward to Summerslam in two weeks from The Barclay Center in Brooklyn. Summerslam is going to be a good show as they have some interesting matches going on especially Randy Orton Vs. Brock Lesnar and Seth Rollins again Finn Balor. I will be LIVE at RAW in Brooklyn at Barclay Center on August 22nd. I will be Periscoping LIVE from there as much as i can , so make sure YOU follow us on Twitter and Periscope @SternFBSuperfan . Here are the RAW highlights :
We are back with our Raw recap and it was a good show not great…I think the WWE and Raw are trying to find their way with the new brand extension and new storylines with it. I think after Summerslam there will be more action and logic with the WWE storylines, as RAW will champion the new Universal Champion.
Here are the RAW highlights :
I like that they are pushing Enzo Amore more as he is great in the ring and awesome on the mic.
Nia Jax is a MONSTER and its good to see a strong woman like that back in the WWE :
Cesaro Vs. Shamus : I’m glad Cesaro got the win and I can’t stand Shamus…He should have gotten his walking papers a long time ago…..Enough with the Celtic Warrior zzzzzzz I’m 100 percent in the Cesaro Section!!
Sami Zayn Vs. Seth Rollins : I love Sami and I hate to see him job out to Seth Rollins, but they have to build Rollins up to be the first Universal Champion. They need Sami to go after The Miz and the I.C. Championship :
Randy Orton came out of nowhere last night to give a RKO to The Best Brock Lesnar. I’m still not sure how this match is going to play out. I can’t see Orton losing on his first match back after 9 months off and I can’t see The Beast losing either…….I’m so confused…
Well that is our RAW recap….See you all next week in the RING!!!!
Next week is the WWE Battleground show on the WWE Network. It should be interesting to see what happens, as the draft if coming on Tuesday. Who will stay and who will go and where will they go?? We will find out on Tuesday. Here is my preview of WWE Battleground.
Dean Ambrose Vs. Roman Reigns Vs. Seth Rollins : I think Dean Ambrose is keeping the title tonight, as he just won it recently as is making a good champion. Should be interesting to see Roman Reigns back in the WWE ring after being suspended for a wellness violation. Will they all stay on RAW????
John Cena , Enzo Amore and Big Cass Vs. The Club : I think The Club will get the win as this brings them to Summerslam in a match with Enzo and Cass and Cena Vs. Aj Styles.
Sami Zayn Vs. Kevin Owens : The last dance with these two who have been battling since the ROH days. I think Sami Zayn is winning this finally, as Owens is so over he doesn’t need the win. OLE!!!!
The New Day Vs. The Wyatt Family : I think Wyatts win when Xavier costs New Day to lose, I think by Summerslam that Xavier woods will be the next Wyatt Family member. Winners will be Wyatt Family by DQ.
It should be a interesting night in the WWE ring. I will have a recap on the next day . See you all in the ring!!
The WWE put on their latest PPV show on The WWE Network last night with Extreme Rules and it was a entertaining show. Going into Extreme Rules, I wasn’t that excited for it as the buildup for it wasn’t really the best. A lot of matches seemed forced, but the matches themselves were very entertaining and the show was fast and fun. Of course the Extreme according to the WWE could have been a little bit more, but the guys and gals put on a good show.
The highlight of the show for me was the fatal four way match which saw Kevin Owens Vs. Sami Zayn Vs. Cesaro Vs. The Miz. With Cesaro, Owens and Zayn battling it out, it brought me back to the good old Ring Of Honor Days when they were Kevin Steen , El Generico and Claudio . The excitement was great in this match with many attempted pin falls. It was classic wrestling story telling. I’m glad The Miz won, as I like him as champion and he makes a great heel that all the guy have to chase for the title. I hope Steen, Zayn and Cesaro eventually get their IC title runs.
The Asylum match with Chris Jericho Vs. Dean Ambrose was good, it could have been a bit more violent with some maybe flaming tables or something different. The thumb tacks in the ring brought me back to the days of Mick Foley. It was good to see Jericho take a bump into the thumbtacks like that as he’s never really done any extreme stuff in the ring. Ambrose needed this win to keep his momentum up, and maybe Jericho is going off on his yearly hiatus from WWE.
The championship match was a tough match with lots of tables breaking and all. I think the WWE should just keep Reigns as a tough to be monster instead of trying to give him a fake personality that doesn’t work for him. He was monster-like in this match vs AJ Styles and this Roman Reigns is who the WWE Universe wants to see, leave the John Cena stuff to John Cena. It was great to see Seth Rollins come back at the end of the match. I see Seth winning the title at WWE Summerslam that takes place in Brooklyn New York.
All in all Extreme Rules lived up to its name and the WWE did a solid job, I just hope they keep it up in the upcoming weeks. Here are some highlights of some of the matches last night :
The WWE did their final WWE RAW before their Extreme Rules PPV on The WWE Network. It was just another Monday Night EH to me, as i’m not that excited to see the Extreme Rules show this Sunday night. What I did like was Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn teaming up against The Miz and Cesaro, that gave me a great flashback to the ROH days. The New Day in their “Time Machine” was entertaining as they always are. But there is something lacking in the promos or something nowadays in WWE. Maybe with the returns of John Cena, Rollins, Orton and more soon, business might pick up. We will be back with our Extreme Rules Recap……Here are some Monday Night Raw clips and we will see you in the ring!!!
