Another set of shows this week….The WWE shows have really found their way with the action. It’s an exciting time to be a WWE fan..can’t wait for Royal Rumble and Mania!!! Here are the best of RAW and SmackdownLive :
The fallout from The Survivor Series continued on Raw and Smackdown. Both shows were very entertaining this week , and I like that both of them got their brand working good. I’m excited to see where we go from here with the road to Wrestlemania coming soon. Here are the highlights of Raw and SmackdownLive :
Good show last night from the WWE SmackdownLive crew. No Mercy was probably this month’s best WWE show….The best matches of the night were definitely The Intercontinental Title match with The Miz losing to Dolph Ziggler. Hopefully WWE does something interesting with Ziggler, as he’s been boring for wayyyy to long. The world title match was good as AJ Styles scored a pinfall and beat up John Cena again. I think Cena will get his 17th title at Mania and then hang it up. Here are some of the highlights of No Mercy :
They say that when there’s smoke, there’s fire. Over the summer, Goldbergwas revealed as the pre-order exclusive for WWE 2K17, which was followed by a nonstop media blitz from the former WCW Champion that continues to this day. Heck, even we interviewed the guy. Goldberg was adamant that he has plenty of matches left in him. Earlier in the summer he also called Brock Lesnar a genius and said he’d love to face him again.
Now we know there’s a pretty good chance there will be at least one more match for Goldberg. It looks like WWE has inked a rematch to one of the most infamous matches in WrestleMania history: Goldberg may be facing Brock Lesnar at Survivor Series.
Jim Ross has multiple sources telling him the same thing, and I’d say Jim Ross is among the more connected among us, when it comes to people in the know. The two men have only met once before: at WrestleMania XX, where it was well-known to the fans in attendance that it was both men’s final night in the company. What followed was one of the strangest matches in front of one of the most hostile crowds in recent memory. Goldberg won that match, but now there will be a second installment … 12 years later.
Survivor Series takes place on November 20 in Toronto. Here is the full match of their first match at Wrestlemania……..
Another week of WWE action and again WWE Smackdown Live turning out the better show with more action and less fluff than Raw.
Best part of RAW was the cruiserweights battling to see who would be the number one contender for The WWE Cruiserweight Championship held by TJ Perkins. Brian Kendrick won the match and battles TJ Perkins at Night Of Champions. I hope Kendrick wins as he’s a veteran who deserves a good push.
Night Of Champions….Eh….I know Kevin Owens is going to keep the title as he just won it and makes a great heel champion and its better for Seth Rollins to be in chase for awhile , until he goes against HHH probably at Mania….I’m not really looking forward to Night Of Champions as its just a EH card..Come on WWE start picking up the pace or you are going to be left behind, from the WWE Universe having WWE overload.
Here are the highlights :
WWE Raw and SmackdownLive were both good shows, as both shows stepped it up this week with good shows. I think WWE is getting it stuff together with the brands of Raw and SmackdownLive.
Raw crowned the new Universal champion in Kevin Owens. Triple H interfered in the match and gave a pedigree to Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins, which lead to a Kevin Owens victory. Why Triple H turned on Seth, we will hopefully find out next Monday on Raw. Owens is going to be a great heel champion, I hope the WWE doesn’t screw it up.
On Smackdown , I like that they are building up The Miz as the intercontinental champion. I hope this leads to a better feel of the I.C. title as back in the day, it was the second belt right behind the championship.
Here are some of the highlights of Raw and SmackdownLive :
It was a holiday show on Raw last night, It was a fun show but it was just EH….Not much happened , as i’m sure the writing team and bookers were off for the day as it seemed.
The show started off with a food fight that was fun to watch
Dean Ambrose Vs. The Miz : I like the MIZ he’s a perfect heel and this match was pretty good, as it was a good preview of WWE Battleground the next WWE show.
What I really liked on the show, was the Enzo and Cass came out to help John Cena against The Club. This was a big push for Enzo and Cass and I want to see where the WWE goes from here .
Raw ended with a 16 man elimination match which pitted The Team USA vs. The Multinational Allience. Good match, but when Zack Ryder and The Big Show are the last in the ring, you know the writing team is off today.
The Monday Night Raw after Extreme Rules, was a good show but it was more of a preview of Money In The Bank and less a recap of The Extreme Rules card the night before. It was like the WWE just started over and got into new feuds for Money In The Bank without acknowledging Extreme Rules that much. A weird show for sure last night.
I’m looking forward next week with the return of John Cena who will probably go after The United States Championship Rusev. It should be a good feud, and i’m sure Cena will start his open challenge again.
Here are the highlights from Monday Night Raw:
The WWE held their latest PPV last night and the show was top notched from start to finish. The PPV started off a new generation in the WWE and the future looks bright.
The WWE started off with a scary spot, when Enzo Amore half of the tag team of Enzo & Cass slid into the top rope and fell unconscious from the ring. People say that wrestling is fake, but the risk is real . Luckily after being taken to the hospital Enzo was released with a concussion.
The Miz Vs. Cesaro : Another exciting match from start to finish, and I like that they left it open for Extreme rules with Sami Zayn, Kevin Owens in the mix of it all .
Roman Reigns Vs. AJ Styles : Both men went the distance, and Roman got props from the fans and foes alike for going the distance with Styles. We all knew that Styles, was too early in his WWE career to win the title, but this was a good buildup for Extreme Rules show. If the WWE keeps Roman Reigns like this indestructible animal they are making him out to be, I think he can win the naysayers over eventually.
WWE Payback was a good beginning of the NEW generation in the WWE. I’m excited to see where the WWE takes it from here. I just hope the WWE doesn’t screw it up……See you after Monday Night Raw tonight with our Raw Recap….See you in the ring!!!
